The AUŠRINE kankles trio

The AUŠRINE kankles trio is a professional band from Šiauliai performing for over a decade. They play on a refined model of kankles (the Baltic psaltery) – one of the oldest folk stringed instruments. The CD includes original compositions arranged by the performers. They are assisted by a number of known vocalists and instrumentalists. The variety of styles of Lithuanian artists as well as compositions from abroad display both the uniqueness and universality of contemporary folk instruments.
