Salduva - is a folk music band of the Šiauliai District Cultural Center, created in 1974.
The band has paticipated in Lithuanian Song Festivals, Lithuanian World Song Festivals, and various interantional and Lithuanian folklore festivals where they have received awards and recognitions.
In 2008 they were nominated for the Golden Bird award and were titled „The Best Folk Band and Best Leader of the Band.“ This CD features the compositions and arrangements by the band leader, Algimantas Jonas Bartašius. The group has excellent singers and instrumentalists who also create lyrics and music and are known for their professonalism.
