This double CD reflects old and deep traditions of songwriters and sung poetry in Lithuania. At the start there were only a few actors and singers performing this genre. Today this scene has grown so large that an entire week-long festival with many and stages located throughout Vilnius and elsewhere in Lithuania has emerged. Many well-known singers and songwriters were invited to participate. Selected songs of local and international performers are included in the CD that is dedicated to celebrate the 10th very popular festival.
